Vision

The Israeli Semiconductor Association (TISA) was established to support the Israeli Semiconductor Industry and enhance its future growth.



Goals

•   To be the main hub of the Israeli semiconductor industry and act as the major source for knowledge, information and networking.
•   To serve the semiconductor companies in Israel and support them in all aspects including technological, business and administrative issues.
•   To represent the Israeli semiconductor industry Vs. the government offices and the Israeli institutions.
•   To enhance the business of its members by initiating various local and global  activities
•   To be socially involved and contribute to the community

Target members

Includes fabless semiconductor companies, IDMs, EDA firms , manufacturing companies(FABs) and other companies engaged in R&D, design, manufacturing, packaging, testing, and materials related to semiconductor.

Associate members
Including venture capital funds, universities, local and International associations.





Major Services:

Professional and technical activities

•   Establish industry forums & work groups to discuss and resolve joint technical problems
•   Provide the platform for subjects of common interest with the academic community in Israel
•   Cooperation with other industry organizations in Israel

Supporting the local industry Vs. government and institutions

•   Representation of its members Vs. government officials in legislation, regulation, planning and control issues.
•   Consultation in receiving government grants for Israeli and multinational firms active in Israel
•   Support in regulation procedures including quality control, safety and hygiene
•   Support is regulation and standardization in various countries
•   Serve as a unified lobby group of the local semiconductor industry.

International activities

•   Introduce and support cooperation with GSA
•   Cooperation with similar industry associations in various countries
•   Representation of the Israeli industry in multinational forums and conferences
•   Participating in multinational trade shows in a joint industry booth
•   Consult and support its members in promoting their global businesses

Support for Young companies

•   Provide business consulting services for start up companies (e.g. business model, marketing, financial resources, vendors, FABs, etc.)
•   Support young companies in receiving aid from government funds (chief scientist, Bi-national funds, etc.)
•   Provide information about available FABs and their production technologies
•   Negotiate with the major FABs to receive best terms for small volume productions
•   Provide mentoring services for entrepreneurs and young managers

Knowledge and information center

•   Provide information about manufacturing, testing, packaging costs
•   Provide information about various industry experts and consulting firms
•   Initiate networking and knowledge exchange activities between its members
•   Initiate  technical courses and seminars to industry professionals
•   Provide information about professional conferences and trade shows around the globe
